... Back and bigger for its second year, The Thrown Gauntlet Festival of mixed arts is returning to Falmouth as residents open up their living rooms, bathrooms, gardens, streets and live venues, inviting the public to witness everything from Falmouth's brightest bands to Cornwall's most eccentric art.
From theatre and storytelling to photography and installation, from performance art to painting, and from film to sculpture, the festival will place actors in bathrooms, paintings in pubs and dance in living rooms.
When evening comes the festival will move to Jacobs Ladder Inn for three nights of music, performance and film.

We also wish to display our thanks to our current funding partners FEAST, Falmouth School of Art and The Academy of Music and Theatre Arts at Falmouth University for supporting the festival.
FEAST harnesses the talents and energy of Cornwall's artists and communities, generating new opportunities for everyone to enjoy the arts. The focus is on bringing people together to share experiences as audiences or participants, and on animating local celebrations and cultural life. You can read more about their work here.
